WATCH: Woman Trapped in Vehicle Crushed by Big Rig in Horrific Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – An 18-Wheeler crushed a passenger vehicle on Houston Harte Freeway Tuesday afternoon trapping a woman inside and rolling another vehicle.  

Traffic was shut down on Houston Harte near the Howard St. overpass as first responders attempted to rescue the woman.  Reporters on the scene say the 18-wheeler appears to have crushed the woman's car against the concrete barrier.  A pickup involved rolled into the median at the scene.

The pickup which rolled into the median appears to have rolled as a result  of the crash.  The 18-wheeler involved appears to have crushed the woman's vehicle into the concrete barrier.  The vehicle is unrecognizable. Witnesses at the scene say the woman was alive and first responders were attempting to get her out of the crushed vehicle.  There was debris scattered for hundreds of feet from where the vehicles first made contact to the crash scene.  

The woman's condition is unknown at this time.
