Driver Flees After Causing Four Car Crash on Chadbourne

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A man was hospitalized on Tuesday following a crash on N. Chadbourne St.

According to a San Angelo Police Department's Motor Unit Officer, on Dec. 8, officers, firefighters, and paramedics were dispatched to the the intersection of N. Chadbourne and 19th St. for the report of a major crash. 

When the officers arrived they discovered four cars had crashed at the light.

The car that caused the crash was a red Honda Accord. Officers say the driver of the Accord failed to control the speed of the vehicle causing it to crash into a black Dodge pickup. 

That truck then crashed into a white Dodge pickup that then crashed into a Honda Tuscon. The driver of the black Dodge pickup was taken to Shannon with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the red Honda Accord fled the scene and is now wanted by the SAPD. Officer claim they have located the house where the suspect fled into and are now currently searching for him.

The officer on scene told reporters that the suspect will receive numerous citations once he is located.
