WATCH: San Angelo Woman Killed in Early Morning Rollover Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police Wednesday morning confirmed a 26-year-old San Angelo woman was killed in a rollover crash on Howard St. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Public Information Officer Tracy Piatt-Fox at the scene, a 26-year-old San Angelo woman was northbound on Howard when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a brick retaining wall.  

Police were dispatched at about 5:30 a.m.

The SUV rolled and landed on its roof.  The driver was trapped in the vehicle. 

She was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the peace Susan Werner.

Police have not identified the victim yet but will later today. 

Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash. 

The crash and investigation shut down streets in the area for hours.
