Splitting Lanes: Camaro Causes Three Vehicle Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Shortly before noon Tuesday San Angelo Police Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 6th Street and N. Bryant Blvd for reports of a three-vehicle crash.

According to SAPD Traffic Division Investigating Officer Welch, the Chevy Camaro, Toyota Highlander, and Nissan Altima were all traveling north on Bryant Blvd.

The driver of the Camaro failed to stay in his lane and essentially tried to split two vehicles. He struck a Toyota Highlander on the left side and a Nissan Altima on the right side.

The occupant of the Altima complained of back pain and was transported to the hospital. No one else was injured in the crash.

The driver of the Camaro was cited for Failure to Maintain Lane and Failure to Control Speed.
