Watch: Scary Head-on Crash at Busy San Angelo Intersection

SAN ANGELO, TX – Two drivers escaped injury in a major crash Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Ave. N. and A&M Ave.

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Long, a tan Toyota was westbound on Ave. N. and a silver Jeep was eastbound approaching the intersection.

Officer Long says for some unknown reason, the Toyota crossed the center line and caused the crash.

An ambulance was called to the scene and drivers were evaluated by medical personnel but refused to go to the hospital. 

The driver of the Toyota was issued a citation for driving left of center.
