The impact caused the tan car to then crash into a gray Kia Optima that was sitting at the stop sign on S. Park.

Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to cut the driver out of the blue car.

The driver of the Corolla was transported to Shannon Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries. The same driver will receive a citation for failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn.
