Two Killed in Gruesome Motorcycle Crash

 

BAIRD, TX – A couple in their 60s was killed on Friday after they pull out in front of a pickup while on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. 

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, on September 25, troopers with the Texas DPS were dispatched to the intersection of US 283 and FM 2926, 19 miles South of Baird, for the report of a major crash. 

When they arrived they found a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 2014 Toyota pickup that had crashed in the middle of the intersection.

Further investigation revealed that the motorcycle was stopped at a stop sign on FM 2926 and US 283, while the pickup was traveling North on US 283. The motorcycle pulled out wide and in front of the pickup and was struck killing both the driver and passenger.

The passengers have been identified Randell L. Myers, male, 67 of Abilene and Cynthia D. Myers, female, 64 of Abilene. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
