WATCH: Both Drivers Injured in Southland Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Both drivers were injured Friday morning in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of S. College Hills Blvd. and Southland Ave.

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigators at the scene, a red Pontiac G6 was stopped at the stop sign eastbound on Southland while the white Honda Odyssey van was northbound on College Hills.

The investigation showed the G6 turned into the path of the van causing the crash.

Airbags in both vehicles deployed and one driver was said to be unresponsive when the crash was first reported.

The driver of the driver of the G6 was transported to Shannon Hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. 

The driver of the van was taken to the hospital by private vehicle with minor injuries.

The driver of the G6 will be issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
