Man Ejected In Rollover Crash

ANSON, TX -- The Department of Public Safety has confirmed the death of a Haskell man killed in a rollover crash on Wednesday.

According to DPS, 62-year-old Eligio Cano Garcia was traveling west on FM 1636 when he veered off right to the north side of the roadway. 

Garcia then turned back to the left and went to the south side where the vehicle began to roll.

Garcia was ejected from his vehicle and declared dead at the scene.

DPS believes the crash occurred late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. The crash site was discovered by a passing motorist around 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
