Pedestrian Identified In Fatal Crash

 

BIG SPRING, TX — The Department of Public Safety has released the identity of the pedestrian who was killed in a fatal crash last Thursday in Big Spring.

According to CBS7, DPS troopers responded to a crash at the south service road of I-29, abut nine miles east of the city.

At the scene troopers located 44-year-old Tony Jetton of Big Spring. Jetton had apparently been hit by a truck.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the truck has been traveling east on the service road when it struck Jetton. According to reports, Jetton had been walking in the center of the roadway amidst heavy rainfall.

Jetton was transported to a local hospital and soon after succumbed to his injuries.
