Park Fire Burns More Than 600 Acres

 

ALBANY, TX — A wildfire burning east of Albany damaged more than 600 acres on Tuesday night.

According to KTXS, firefighters in Shackelford County battled to control the fire. As of 10:00 p.m., the wildfire was 600-acres and 40 percent contained.

According to the Texas A&M Forest Service the fire, dubbed the Park Fire, is 450 acres and 50 percent contained as of Wednesday morning.
