Woman Killed After Mustang Spins Out of Control

 

MIDLAND, TX — The City of Midland confirmed a woman was killed after the vehicle she was traveling in spun out of control.

According to MRT.com, Veronica Felon, 47, was the passenger in a 2005 Ford Mustang that was traveling northbound on South Garfield St.  

According to police, the driver made a sharp turn into the southbound lane, spun out of control, and struck a 2018 Chevrolet pickup.

Felon was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. 

The driver of the Mustang was also transported to the hospital with injuries described as serious, but not life-threatening. The driver of the pickup only suffered minor injuries.
