Firefighters Battling Wildfire Near Susan Peak Road

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Firefighters from several departments were battling a wildfire on the Rocking Chair Ranch Friday.

Radio reports indicate the blaze started around sunrise as the Wall Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the ranch on Susan Peak Rd. in southeast Tom Green County.

Initial reports indicate the fire had burned about 75 acres.  The Texas Forest Service was called in to assist fighting the wildfire.

Fire trucks with the East Concho VFD and the Christoval VFD were also called in to help contain the blaze.
