SAN ANGELO, TX – The driver of a minivan was injured when he drove into a line of parked vehicles Monday on the east side of San Angelo.
Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies and Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers investigated the morning crash near the intersection of Paint Rock Rd. and Moreland Rd.
Witnesses at the scene say the driver appeared to be high on drugs and bit at least one person attempting to help him after the crash.

Witnesses say the driver apparently was wanted in Louisiana.
DPS Trooper Justin Baker said at the scene that the driver apparently drove off the highway, struck a Snap-On Tool truck, then crashed into at least three parked vehicles.
Baker said the driver of the minivan was eastbound on Paint Rock Rd. at a high rate of speed and hit Snapon work truck at a residence which then hit a Chevy Tahoe and a GMC pickup. The driver suffered incapacitating injuries and was transported to Shannon Medical Center.
Sgt. Baker said the driver is facing multiple charges.
