SAN ANGELO, TX – A tractor trailer sand truck lost its load on Loop 306 at Herbert Rd. east of San Angelo Tuesday blocking the roadway.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers directed traffic around the spill.

Traffic was backed up to the U.S. 87 overpass.
A backhoe was moving the gravel off the roadway.
There were no crashes and no injuries. Texas Department of Transportation workers were also on the scene.
