Family Members Watch as Father and Son Killed in Motorcycle Crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A father and son were tragically killed in a motorcycle crash after they crashed into a concrete wall.

According to KTXS, Reinerio Lopez, 36, and Franklin Lopez, 15 were riding along General Hudnell Drive near Cupples Road around 12:20 a.m. on Tuesday when Reinerio lost control on a curve and crashed.

Reinero and Franklin were riding alongside family members who witnessed the crash. The family members called 9-1-1 and when paramedics arrived at the scene, they attempted to revive the victims, but they both succumbed to their injuries.

San Antonio Police Department investigators stated both victims were wearing helmets and they do not believe Reinerio was speeding.
