Driver Hospitalized After 18-Wheeler Overturns on I-20

ABILENE, TX – Authorities closed down a section of I-20 westbound after an 18-wheeler rolled over and blocked both lanes of traffic.

According to KTXS, the big rig rolled over near mile marker 292. Crews were needed to free the driver and the efforts were successful. 

The driver was transported to the hospital via ambulance and traffic is being diverted.

No information has been released regarding the cause of the crash or any injuries sustained by the driver.
