Passengers Swim to Shore After Plane Crashes Into Lake

 

CANYON LAKE, TX – The passengers in a small plane swam to shore after their plane crashed into Canyon Lake Tuesday.

According to KSAT, a small white plane was traveling to New Braunfels when it was forced to make an emergency landing on the water.

Officials said two people on the plane were able to swim to shore and one was taken to the Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels.

It is unclear where the plane originated from before crashing into the lake.
