Driver Dies After 18-Wheeler Rolls Over Near Ballinger

BALLINGER, TX – The driver of an 18-wheeler died Friday after rolling the truck on Highway 83 near Ballinger. 

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, on April 3 at around 9:30 a.m., troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety were dispatched to Highway 83 about seven miles south of Ballinger for the report of a rollover crash involving a Semitruck. 

Troopers say the truck was heading north when the driver lost control and rolled the vehicle over. 

The driver of the Semi died in the crash. 

No other vehicles or people were involved in the crash.
