Pedestrian Killed in Freeway Crash Friday

ABILENE, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday night on the Winters Freeway in Abilene.

KTXS is reporting the unidentified victim was struck by a car while attempting to cross the northbound lanes of the Winters Freeway near 1st Street.

Abilene police closed a section of the freeway while they investigated the fatal crash.

Police have not identified the victim or the driver of the car.
