Colorado City Man Killed in Early Morning Crash

 

DUNN, TX – Just before 6:00 a.m., Department of Public Safety troopers responded to a fatal crash on State Highway 208, close to Dunn, TX. One of the drivers involved in the crash was from Colorado City.

According to a preliminary report released by DPS, a 2019 Ford Pickup was traveling east on FM 1606 when it drove through a stop sign at the intersection. The second vehicle, a 2015 Ford Pickup was traveling north on 208 when the 2019 pickup crashed into the driver’s side.

The driver of the 2019 pickup was identified as 45-year-old Cody Allen Loving of Snyder. He was transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock to be treated for serious injuries. 

The driver of the 2015 pickup was pronounced dead at the scene and was identified as 39-year-old Jared Lee Foster of Colorado City.

The crash is still under investigation but DPS confirmed both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
