WATCH: Mailman Injured in Scary Westside Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo mailman was injured when his postal van was rear-ended Monday afternoon in west San Angelo. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Younts, the mail van was parked on the side of the road in the 2500 block of Van Buren St.

Officer Younts says a white Ford F-350 was southbound on Van Buren and crashed into the back of the mail van pushing it off the roadway.  

Scanner reports indicate the mail man was bleeding from a head wound.  He was transported to the hospital by ambulance with non life-threatening injuries 

The driver of the F-350 was issued a citation for failure to control speed.
