SAN ANGELO, TX – Two drivers suffered minor injuries in a drive time crash on Sherwood Way Tuesday afternoon sending an SUV into a sign pole.
According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officers at the scene, a silver Ford Explorer was eastbound on Sherwood Way while a white panel pickup was attempting to turn right from Johnson St. eastbound on Sherwood way.

Witnesses told officers the driver of the Explorer ran the red light and crashed into the pickup.
No one was taken to the hospital but both drivers were slightly injured.
The driver of the Explorer was issued a citation for disregarding the traffic signal.
