Authorities Identify Suspect Who Killed Civilian During Pursuit

 

ODESSA, TX - Authorities have identified the suspect that led Ector County Sheriff's Deputies on a deadly chase Sunday. 

According to CBS7, Bryan Madsen, 48, was apprehended after he t-boned a driver leaving a Lowes parking lot. Madsen was wanted on a federal warrant.

The driver of the vehicle died as a result of the crash and as of this time charges against Madsen are pending. In a previous report, DPS indicated they were planning to file criminal charges against Madsen for causing the death of the driver.

The name of the civilian who was killed during the pursuit has not been released.
