WATCH: Family Dog Rescued as Thanksgiving Fire Damages West San Angelo Home

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Residents in west San Angelo were rocked by a Thanksgiving day fire where a family dog was rescued and a missing child was found safe at a nearby residence. 

According to reporters on the scene, San Angelo Fire Department personnel responded to a structure fire call after 5 p.m. Thanksgiving day near the intersection of Webster and Parker Streets.

Witnesses say at first they were thought one child was missing but he was found at a nearby house. 

Reporters at the scene say the crowd cheered when a boy showed up outside the house with the family dog.

Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the blaze.  

There are no reports of injures at this time.
