SAN ANGELO, TX — A night time crash occurred at Loop 306 and College Hills Blvd. Tuesday night.
At a little after 9:30 p.m., a silver F150 was attempting to get on the loop and ran a red light to do so. Unfortunately, a white GMC was headed north on College Hills at the same time and preceded to go through the intersection with the right of way.
The GMC hit the F150 right at the driver's door and caused serious damage to both vehicles. There were no injuries that required a trip to the hospital, but SAPD did say that a passenger in the GMC pickup was treated for their injuries on the scene.

SAPD gave the driver of the F150 a citation for failing to stop at a red light.
This is a good reminder to stay safe and vigilant on the roads this holiday season. Thanksgiving is a busy time for travelers all over the country, and a recent report showed it is the deadliest holiday of the year to drive on highways.
