One Dead After Head-On Crash on Busy Highway

BRADY, TX -- A section of US Highway 71 was closed today after a head-on collision killed one person. 

According to the Brady Fire and EMS, on November 7, the Brady Fire and EMS were dispatched to US Highway 71 just four miles outside of Brady for the report of a major motor vehicle accident. 

One fatality has been confirmed and authorities are asking people to stay clear of the area. 

They have closed the highway between Brady and FM 2309. 

Officials are asking drivers heading to Llano to take FM 2309.
