UPDATE: Teenager Sustained Non-Life Threatening Injuries After Being Struck by Car

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The San Angelo Police Department has given an update on the condition of the teen that was struck by a car this morning.

As previously reported, on October 30, the San Angelo Police Department responded to East 7th and North Chadbourne Street for the report of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash. Here is the original story: WATCH: Teenager Struck and Injured by a Car at Rainy San Angelo Intersection.

Police say that the teen was walking on her way to school on E. 7th, attempting to cross N. Chadbourne during oncoming traffic, when she was struck by a 2012 Nissan Versa that was traveling south on N. Chadbourne.

A review of nearby surveillance video confirmed the light for southbound traffic on N. Chadbourne was green, westbound traffic was red.

The teenager did not sustain life threatening injuries and no citations were issued.
