Father Dies After Rolling Car Filled with Family Members

 

CALLAHAN CO. TX -- One person died yesterday during a single car rollover on State Highway 6. 

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, on October 28, troopers were dispatched to State Highway 6 just four miles south east of Moran for the report of a major motor vehicle accident. 

When troopers arrived, they found a 1999 Chevorlet Suburban that had rolled into the ditch through multiple trees and a fence.

After further investigation, the troopers determined that the Suburban was traveling southeast on US 6 were it veered into the oncoming lane. The driver over corrected, lost control, and rolled into the barrow ditch. 

The vehicle was occupied by five people. Monica Henderson, 45, Kevin Henderson, 19, and two younger family members were treated and released.

The driver Kevin Hernderson, 45, was preannounced dead at the Hendrick Medical Center.
