Fire Devours Home on Hubbard Creek Lake

BRECKENRIDGE, TX -- A fire destroyed a home on Hubbard Creek Lake last night.

According to KTXS, on October 23, the Breckenridege Fire Department were dispatched to Hubbard Creek Lake for the report of a large out-of-control fire.

When they arrived, they found a home that was completely engulfed in flames.

With the help of the Hubbard Creek Volunteer Fire Department, the firefighters were able to put out all of the flames before the fire could spread.

The Chief of the BFD told KTXS that everyone inside of the home is safe but the home was completely destroyed.

Ministerial Alliance helped them find a motel room for the night.

They are contacting Red Cross and Salvation Army for further assistance.

"Keep the renters, as well as the home owners, in your thoughts," said Chaney.
