WATCH: Crash at Busy Santa Rita Intersection Blocks Traffic

SAN ANGELO, TX – Both drivers escaped serious injury Monday afternoon after a two car crash at the intersection of Johnson St. and Ave J. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Long, the driver of a tan Cadillac was westbound on Ave. J while a white Chevrolet Impala was northbound on Johnson St.

Officer Long says the driver of the Cadillac disregarded the stop sign and pulled into the path of the Impala causing the crash. 

Emergency medical personnel checked out the drivers and no one was transported to the hospital by ambulance. 

The driver of the Cadillac was issued a citation for disregarding a stop sign.
