Driver Dies in School Parking Lot Rollover Crash

ABILENE, TX – The rollover crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of the Abilene Christian School had a fatality.

According to KTXS, the driver of the pickup, that went into the parking lot for an unknown reason, was pronounced dead after being transported to Hendrick Medical Center.

The name and age of the victim have not been released to the public at the moment.

A woman in the other pickup that was hit by the male driver was also taken to the hospital.

“It could have been a lot more serious if we would have had more vehicles out here occupied with parents picking up children and or children walking out of school, walking through the parking lot to get in vehicles," Lt. Scott Hill said.
