Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Loop 306 Access Road

 

 SAN ANGELO, TX – A motorcyclist was injured in a Wednesday morning crash at the intersection of Loop 306 and Smith Blvd. in east San Angelo. 

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Long, the motorcyclist was southbound on Smith Blvd. and failed to yield the right of way to a brown SUV.

Long says the motorcyclist struck the right rear quarter panel of the SUV and laid the bike over.  

The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and was injured in the crash but refused medical treatment at the scene. 

He was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.  

After the investigation, the motorcyclist got back on his bike and rode away from the scene.
