Crash Involving School Vehicle Sends One to the Hospital

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The driver of a Chevrolet Cruz was transported to Shannon Medical Center after a morning commute crash at the intersection of Roosevelt and Bell streets in east San Angelo. 

According to the investigating officer, a San Angelo Independent School District Ford F-350 was attempting to turn left off of Bell St. onto Roosevelt when the Chevy Cruz rear ended the Ford.

The driver of the F-350 was uninjured.

The driver of the Cruz was taken by ambulance to Shannon 'Code Three' with unknown injuries.  

The intersection was blocked off and the SAPD drone unit was deployed at the scene. 

The driver of the Cruz may be issued a citation for failure to control speed pending the outcome of the investigation.
