SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo firefighters are staying busy as downed power lines sparked a grass fire along Grand Canal Road along the irrigation canal Wednesday afternoon.
Scanner reports indicated the power lines were down and started the fire.

San Angelo firefighters used brush trucks and quickly put out the grass fire.
AEP utility crews were on the scene and cut power to the power lines.
No structures were damaged and no one was injured.
