Driver Fixing Disabled Pickup on Bridge Injured in Rear-End Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A driver of a Chrysler 300 slammed into the back of a disabled pickup on the E. Avenue L bridge that spans the Concho River this morning at around 9:30 a.m.

According to San Angelo police, the pickup truck driver had gotten out of his disabled truck and was standing in front assessing how to get it running. This is when the driver of the Chrysler 300 slammed into the rear of his truck. The truck lurched forward, striking the truck’s driver. The truck’s driver was knocked to the ground and sustained lacerations to his head.

WATCH:

The driver and child occupant, a toddler, of the Chrysler 300 were not injured. The occupants of both vehicles refused ambulance transport to any hospital.
