Field Sobriety Test Administered After Multi-Vehicle Pile-Up Blocks Traffic on Knickerbocker Near Lake Nasworthy

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — All lanes of Knickerbocker Road from the airport to the Stripes were blocked for a while Thursday evening as first responders cleared a multi-vehicle crash near the Lakeshore Blvd. intersection. The crash scene is two separate crash incidents with about four vehicles total involved. 

Near a vehicle in the second crash, police can be seen administering a field sobriety test to one of the drivers. The driver was seen getting arrested afterwards.

The crash happened at around 10 p.m. WATCH:

Police said the driver of the red pickup was attempting to make a U-turn on Knickerbocker Road and did not see the vehicle traveling the same way and the two vehicles collided. The second vehicle looked like a Chevrolet pickup.

The red pickup driver was cited for making an unsafe U-turn.

The second crash involved the alleged drunk driver and police did not have more information on it.
