WATCH: Horrific Crash Downtown Sends Two to Hospital

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A box truck and an SUV crashed in downtown San Angelo sent two people to the hospital with non-incapacitating injuries Wednesday afternoon. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Public Information Officer Tracy Piatt-Fox, the box truck was southbound on Main St. attempting to turn left onto Pulliam St.

The driver failed to yield the right of way to northbound traffic and crashed the box truck into a Nissan Armada SUV.  The 18-year-old passenger in the truck and 32-year-old driver of the SUV were both transported to Shannon Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries.

The driver of the box truck was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.

I've seen horrific wrecks, and this doesn't qualify. Significant....perhaps, extensive damage, indeed. But non-incapacitating injuries don't often occur in the horrific collisions.
Kind of like limited quantity oil spills.
