San Angelo Man Identified in Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Crash in Odessa

 

ODESSA, TX -- A San Angelo man was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident in Odessa over the weekend.

In a press release, Odessa Police identified Dow Bert Parker, 60, of San Angelo, as the victim of the May 17 crash.

Police responded to the crash at University and Golder around 10:24 p.m. on Friday. A black Jeep Liberty was headed east on West University. Their investigation showed that Parker tried to run across University before he was struck by the jeep.

Parker was transported to Medical Center Hospital where he was later pronounced dead by medical personnel.

The driver of the Jeep, Jose Manuel Sanchez, 48, of Houston, is not reported to have sustained injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing.
