SAN ANGELO, TX -- A Republic trash truck snapped a power pole and downed a stop sign at the corner of Bell St. and Roosevelt Tuesday afternoon.
According to witnesses at the scene, the truck was northbound on Bell St. and was attempting to turn onto Roosevelt when it snagged the overhead power line.

The truck dragging the power line snapped the power pole and the truck took out the sign.
No one was inured at the scene.
Traffic was blocked at the intersection while police investigated the crash.
