WATCH: Two Injured in Crash at Dangerous San Angelo Intersection

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The driver of a Nissan Pathfinder failed to yield the right of way at the busy intersection of S. Bryant Blvd. and Ave. L Friday afternoon causing a crash that sent two people to the hospital. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Investigating officer Welch, The Pathfinder was southbound on Bryant attempting to turn left onto W. Ave L.  The driver had a green light but was supposed to yield to northbound traffic and failed to do so.  

When the Pathfinder entered the intersection it was struck by a Hyundai Sonata.

According to Officer Welch, the two men in the Sonata were transported to Shannon Medical Center by ambulance with non incapacitating injuries. 

The two women in the Pathfinder were treated at the scene.  

The female driver of the Pathfinder was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
