WATCH: Chevy Cruz Crashes Near Christoval

CHRISTOVAL, TX -- The driver of a black Chevrolet Cruz suffered unknown injuries when the vehicle crashed north of Christoval Friday morning. 

First responders from the Christoval Volunteer Fire Department, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety were working the crash scene.

It appears the Cruz was southbound and crossed over the roadway and crashed into trees along a fence line on the northbound side of the highway.  

Scanner reports indicate the driver was female. 

The photos above show the vehicle's airbags deployed during the crash.
