VIDEO: San Angelo Firefighters Battle Blaze on Tarver Street

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo first responders are battled a structure fire in the 1000 block of Tarver in east central San Angelo Wednesday afternoon. 

Reporters on the scene say firefighters were spraying water on what appears to be a fire in the attic.

Scanner reports indicate there were four adults who were able to get out of the house. Firefighters were also in search of the family's animals and were able to safely secure them. 

According to the San Angelo Fire Department the home sustained a tremendous amount of water damage. The American Red Cross was on scene to assist the family. 

SAFD added at this time the cause of the fire is unknown.
