WATCH: Recovery Operation Underway After Boat Sinks at Nasworthy Dock

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police Department Lake Patrol, Home Motors, and the owner of a ski boat that sunk while docked at Spring Creek Marina on Lake Nasworthy were seen attempting to “unsink” the boat early Easter Sunday afternoon.

“They found the boat sunk, it must have sunk overnight,” is how an employee at the marina explained what happened.

WATCH:

Authorities, including a diver with Lake Patrol, were looking for ways to salvage what looked like an older model ski boat. A Home Motors wrecker stood by at the ready in case other ideas failed.

For now, it appears the boat’s owner and police are going to attempt to raise the boat enough to start bailing out the water.

There were no injuries reported.
