SAN ANGELO, TX -- One person had to be freed from a vehicle and two were injured in a two-car crash at the intersection of A&M and Sherwood Way Wednesday afternoon.
Officers on the scene say a Dodge Journey was entering the intersection from A&M after their light had turned green. A westbound Toyota RAV-4 on Sherwood disregarded the red light, colliding with the Dodge.
The driver of the Dodge was transported to the hospital, as was the passenger of the Toyota. Their injuries were not believed to be severe by the investigating officer.
The Dodge driver had to be freed from the car because the impact from the crash kept the door from opening.
The driver of the Toyota was cited for disregarding a red light and driving without a license.
