WATCH: Firefighters Respond to Smoke at the Boat Restaurant

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Firefighters responded to a report of a possible structure fire at the Boat Oyster Bar & Grill Monday afternoon. 

First responders were on the scene quickly as restaurant employees got customers out of the popular restaurant at 2715 Sherwood Way.

Firefighters were seen climbing a ladder to gain access to the roof.  The report was smoke in the dining room. 

First responders at the scene said the smoke came from an electrical issue with the air conditioner.

The restaurant remains open but is reportedly without air conditioning for now until the issue is repaired.
