SAN ANGELO, TX -- A truck hauling rock failed to turn the corner and overturned on U.S. 277 near the intersection of FM 2105 Tuesday afternoon spilling its load onto the roadway.
Scanner reports said the driver was trapped but first responders were able to free him immediately.
Quail Valley Volunteer Firefighters were on the scene along with Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies and Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers.

Traffic was not blocked and the driver wasn't seriously injured. No word on whether the driver will be issued a citation.
DPS troopers are investigating the crash.
