Mustang Snaps Telephone Pole in Half on North Bryant

SAN ANGELO, TX -- One person suffered injuries after a Ford Mustang slammed into a telephone pole on San Angelo's northside.

Officer Brian Bylsma with the San Angelo Police Department said the driver was attempting to turn in to the northbound lanes of N. Bryant Blvd. in the 3300 block when he stepped on the gas too much and lost control.

The driver was the one who suffered minor injuries and was going to the hospital by private vehicle. His passenger was uninjured.

Citations are pending the investigation.

The telephone pole broke in half. So, AEP is working to replace the pole.
