Republic Trash Truck Dumps Fiery Load at DPS Office

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Firefighters and Police Officers responded to a fire call at the Texas Department of Public Safety office on Foster Rd. at Loop 306 Monday to douse a fire a Republic Services trash truck dumped in the parking lot.  

According to reports, the trash truck drove to the DPS parking lot and dumped the load which was on fire.  

Firefighters could be seen dousing the smoldering pile of trash with water. 

Smoke from the fire could be seen from across the city.  

There are no reports of injuries or property damage.
