BMW and Mitsubishi SUV get Into Tangled Roll Over Crash on U.S. 87

SAN ANGELO, TX — A BMW sedan and a Mitsubishi SUV were involved in a two-car crash on U.S. 87 south towards Wall, just east of the U.S. 277 interchange.

According to the LIVE! reporter at the scene, the crash right at the intersection of U.S. 87 and Brodnax Ln. didn’t appear to have any injured victims, though the overturned Mitsubishi and the crumpled front end of the BMW sedan could indicate there were. We did not see anyone loaded in the single ambulance that arrived and left.

Traffic was slowed down to one lane, though the crash vehicles were located off the major highway, to the north side of U.S. 87 on Brodnax.

The crash happened just after 1 p.m. The weather was cloudy and the roadway dry. The Wall Volunteer Fire Department, San Angelo Fire Department and EMS tended the scene. Texas DPS was investigating the cause.
